Fat Tuesday app anyone?
Tomorrow I am surprising DH with a Fat Tuesday meal.
I have been sick for the past few days and so the turtle soup that I was going to do for an appetizer is just too much given how I feel and I need something easier. Any ideas?
The rest of my menu is:
- Red beans & rice (I am getting Popeye's so I don't have to stand over it)
- Blackened fish with a crawfish & shrimp cream sauce
- Asparagus
- Cornbread
- A king cake that will arrive in mail tomorrow

I don't have any ideas but wanted to tell you the menu sounds delish...making me hungry! I miss New Orleans food(I attended college there)
