Help! Yard is sooo muddy
Because of all the rain and snow we've had in NJ this year, our yard is a giant muddy mess. And having a dog who likes to kick up after he does his business doesn't help.
Does anyone have any suggestions on anything I can put down/on top of some sections to minimize the mess until spring gets here in a few months?

Our yard has the same problem. Our neighbors say it's the slope of the land. Apparently there is another section of our 'hood that has no retention pond and it is less muddy. Since we are a little closer to the pond, we have tons of mud. I'm not sure why.
Anyway, I am not much help. We just try to avoid it and then when the grass gets too long, we weed whack it because the mower just sinks right in. Our feet get so nasty from it.
