upstate ladies, come in!!
I know it's early but I was just writing my blog about my annual Halloween party and I thought it would be fun to invite you all. and I just wanted to give you all a heads up so if you wanted to, you could plan now (since I know we are all busy and the sooner we know about something, the better).
(If you THINK you might, e-mail me your address and I'll mail you an invitation... bc the invitations are awesome this year) cari.sheriff @ fluor.com if you aren't sure about giving a nestie you don't know well your address, I can e-mail you all the info.
It will be October 24 or 25 (not sure yet) and it's always a blast. Adults only. BYOB. bon-fire, games, costume constest, GREAT food and a fun time!

As far as I know Steve and I don't have anything going on at the end of October-we'll probably be hanging around the area for a while after we get back from our trip, so definitely count us in.
I don't think I can get Steve into a costume, but he'll definitely come to hang out!! :-)
I will post those photos from last year soon. So you can get an idea of how people dressed...until I can get to that computer, though- I will list what some of the people dressed as:
I was a she-devil. (black strapless dress, red horns, dark eyes, red heels) not too involved but since it was a crazy month already that month and I pretty much had to plan the party in 1 week, I didn't go all out like I did the year before (I forgot about the party last year-oops!)
Brian was hannibal Lector- complete with muzzle and straight jacket. (nerd!)
Some friends were: a hot dog, his wife was ketchup, his daughter a drive in waitress (cute, huh?). Their baby was a mini firefighter (seriously mini- 3 months old), We had a war pilot (he wore his dads REAL war-pilot uniform), we had a male hula girl, a beauty queen, a cowboy, Larry the Cable Guy, MiMi and Drew Carey (soo funny!), another couple, she was an angel, he was a devil, I can't remember anymore b/c there were SO many. So we had everything from scarey to funny. Really the pictures are WAY better than the descriptions so those will be up soon!!
