I am beside myself!
We just got an email from our realtor with papers to sign... the bank accepted our offer and we close on March 3rd! We actually had another offer accepted last week as well, but we really wanted this house and after inspecting the first one the structural damage was too great anyway. DH and I are so excited, this is our first time as homeowners. We will be living in 2400 square feet of space (3 times what we have now) on a golf course in Tamarac. I am praying the closing actually happens. It's a foreclosure so it needs some repairs right away (it has no kitchen at all or a garage door, for starters) but here is a sneak peak of our backyard, the golf course is to the right on the other side of the bushes in the distance.

We bought our house in November and have been living here for about 2 months already. I love it! Owning a home is just exciting.

Even though it needs some major repairs right away, it's pretty fun to be able to move in and get a brand new kitchen!

Wow congrats!! That's a nice size back yard, once you give it some minimal fix up, it'll look like a dream! Our home was also a foreclosure (although, it didn't need much.. thank god). Just remember to take it one day/ project at a time. When we first moved in all I wanted to do is get everything beautiful right away, but then reality hit. We realized that there is no need to rush (or put a stress on our finances) .. and so now we're taking it section by section and it's working out.
