Sooooo after over 7 months of applying and interviewing and applying and interviewing...I finally got a job! Anddddddd I ended up getting it because one of my good friend's DH works for the company so all of my applying and interviewing was useless anyways

I was seriously starting to get so down in the dumps it was ridiculous...I've battled depression on and off for years, and it was starting to sink in again...I was just starting to get back into the whole sitting on the couch all day watching tv thing and so this comes just at the right time! EEEEK! It's gonna be crazy to jump back into the whole 8-5 thing, but it's going to feel SOOO good to be back on a schedule again!
Re: AW: I got a job!
Congratulations! Tell us what the job is about!
Thanks so much, guys
Haha sorry I didn't mention what it was! It's an admin position...document processing to be specific. So nothing too exciting, but it'll pay the bills! It's less pay than what I used to make but I was pretty much guaranteed a raise after 3 months if all goes well...we'll see! It's strange because ever since graduating college, I've worked in non-profit, and this job will be in the corporate world...not necessarily something I would choose to do, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do...
