Re: Happy Tuesday!
Good morning! Didn't do much on our holiday weekend. Some stuff around the house and yard but mostly just hung out together. Caught up on a lot of Tivo! Finally! We were watching episodes of House with commercials for Christmas sales!
Nothing planned today except for work. Back to the grind...at least it's a short week!
I started a new book so I want to do some reading tonight...if Sarah "allows" me to!

Back to work after my 3 day wkend!
Sat/Sun we were in San Diego which was great to get away although we hit some snags down there. The hotel was awesome but the room hadnt been properly cleaned from the last guests so I mentioned it to the front desk and they took $50 off our room rate and gave us 2 free drinks at the bar! Then the restaurant we had reservations at were completely rude to us when we got there so we didnt even bother getting seated and just went decided to walk around, try out a few bars and get drinks and appetizers the rest of the night.
On Sunday night when we got home, we decided to take another stab at a fondue dinner. Last vday we tried making fondue and it turned out disastrously so we decided to give it another go and it worked out great this time around!
Yesterday I had the day off but H had to work so I did a ton around the house, so much so I even suprised myself. Went to yoga, did several loads of laundry, cleaned the kitchen, vacuumed, then decided to use the leftover blocks of cheese to make a broccoli cheese soup in the crockpot that turned out really good! Fortunately we have enough for leftovers tonight so I'm looking forward to dinner.
Oh I saw your pics on FB but I didnt realize you were there this weekend too!
We stayed at Hotel Solamar which location-wise was great since it was right downtown by the gaslamp district. I managed to get a great deal on it and with the $50 off we hardly paid anything!
