Re: Zombie Eye
TT, it is so worth it. Some discomfort. I'd do it again, if I had to go back.
Seriously, I would recommend it. Even with the zombie eye. I couldn't believe how fast it went. 10 seconds for the flap, 10 seconds for the laser correction. It took more time to go over the post op instructions than the actual surgery. My DH had it over 10 years ago and he said it took more like 15 minutes per eye, so they've come a long way.

I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
Taw, I started wearing contacts the summer after 6th grade. Somewhere around college my eyes decided to become possessed and get all these infections/cornial abrasions (spelling?), which made wearing contacts extremely painful and unbearable.
I hate glasses, but wore them for a couple years after that. My vision was teh suck. Lasik gave me much freedom from slamming into walls if I didn't have on my glasses. (Even at home, I couldn't function without them.)
I hate you because I opened this.
(eyeball phobia--shouldn't have opened)
That second one is really creepy. I'm glad everything went okay.
I'm fine with contacts, but if I ever have to wear glasses full time (or I have to pay full price) I'll be making the lasik appt.
