Visiting Houston Nestie with a question
Hello Chicago Nesties!
DH, DS and I are going to be in Chicago for a day or two on our way to Michigan in late May. We're going to be traveling with our two dogs (big dogs, 60 and 95 lbs) and I'm starting to look for places to stay. We'll have our own car, so staying outside of the downtown area is ok, we just don't want to have to drive a terribly long time to get to downtown.
We'd like to catch a Cubs game while we're there so I'd be open to boarding them for a night in lieu of staying in a hotel with them.
Does anyone have any recs on (big) dog friendly hotels and/or kennels or day camps?
Thanks!
Re: Visiting Houston Nestie with a question
Most hotels will be downtown/Michigan Ave or out by O'Hare but they seem to all have a weight limit (some have 80 lbs but not many):
www.pets-allowed-hotels.com/us/Illinois/CHICAGO/index.html
The only hotel that I know of that is by a place you can board is the Crowne Plaza in the west loop:

And the place to board dogs is
www.urbanoutsitters.com/services/boarding/
That would be great! Thanks!
Does anyone know about Camp Bow Wow in Oak Park?
