Tired after a long morning of hiking and swimming.
She hardly sounds like an expert.
My understanding was that while there is correlation between aluminum and alzheimer's, there wasn't any confirmed causation.
I admit I'm also miffed that she claims changing your diet will make you not stink. DH & I eat the same foods. DH had/has great success with the crystal, while I had ZERO success. I used it an entire year because people told me I needed to allow my body time to adjust and purge the toxins. Well, a year later I still had horrible BO, so I went back to the "toxic" stuff. It's really hard to be professional and put together when you have wet pits and can't lift your arms without fear of stinking people out. I am not exaggerating--it was that bad. Everyone has different body chemistry. I can't no-poo, either.
In fact, if you read some of her other posts, she sounds like a nutcase.
Oh really? Guess I'm too trusting of people. dumb. Good to know though

Her "there is aluminum in alum" explanation was weak; I did some searching and didn't find any information that would lead me to believe that the crystal deodorant companies are lying about alum being too large to be absorbed by the skin. (This, of course, is in addition to the lack of scientific evidence showing a causation between aluminum in deodorant and Alzheimer's or breast cancer.)
