Adoption is not a bad thing. It does not make the person any more or less crazy than they would have been otherwise. Sure, there are often issues associated with it, but damn people. Please stop pointing out whether or not the fvckd up people in your stories are adopted or not.

L, the only reason I mentioned it in my stories is that it's a huge issue for both of these people. They hang on to it for all of their woe is me and blame their feelings of inadequacy on it. It was a situation specific not a generality.
I fully support adoption and know many more not-crazy adopted people. I think it's a truly beautiful thing to do.
Geez, L. It related to a story. It's not as if people are all, "Adopted? They MUST be crazy" or "They're not adopted and they're STILL crazy? You can't have one without the other."
And I tried to post that TTs examples give adoption a bad name, but TK was all "OH NO YOU DON'T! HAMMER OF ERRORS!" and wouldn't let me.
I'm sorry. It truly was a joke brought on by the fact that I think adoption is a wonderful thing and don't understand the bitterness that some people have about it. Sh1tty parents can come both biologically and adoptively and I think blaming adoption for personal problems is a shortcut to thinking. I was mocking the people more than their situations, but I understand how that wouldn't have come off.

My astonishment had nothing to do with the adoption part of the stories.
But I can also see how it could have been taken the way you took it.
