Ha!  For 26 years I used the can lid to push/drain - now I just go into auto-pilot and do it the old way then remember I have that drainer thing then realize I have no idea where it is, so I just continue ot do it with the can lid.

    Stick out tongue

I actually have two of them because I use them so often.  I also hate hate hate for my tuna to have any juice in it so the little holes allow for it all to come out.  I use it for other things too.  Funny!  I have a sick obsession with kitchen gadgets though.

My MOM took one that I found at a yard sale for $1 cause it was the 'old' one with the metal stuff vs. plastic.  She SWEARS by it! I've not used my 'new' ones yet...

Just another reason why we're long lost twins.. LOL

I know I was too. It's too small for anything I want to chop or mix with it, and it really doesn't circulate what's in it well enough to mix it all up.

I was so excited when I bought it 3 years ago.  The darn thing hasn't been out of the box once, lol.

I can see it working good for that, but I'd rather wash a fork than wash the blade thingy and the cup part just for some scrambled eggs.

I have one of these too that I never use.  I thought it was the stupidest thing ever until my stewpid chef husband said that it was a "necessity".  HURH!? Hmm

    I use mine every Christmas!

I used one all the time in college and HAD to have one when I got married, I've used it once.  A grill pan is soooo much easier!

  • image

It's never even come out of the box.

We use ours all the time.  I love it.  We love stuff cooked on the grill but there's no way in hell I go out there to cook on it in the winter, eff that shiit.  So I use this thing.

I guarantee you I would use it, often, if we had one.  Oh, but I have another one we hardly use....

I saw this in Bed, Bath, & Beyond recently and wondered if people actually use them.  I make quesadillas a lot, but just use a griddle.

Well see, thats the thing, its never really too cold to BBQ here, so it is really pointless to have!

This is the only thing we HAVE used! LOL (Exact same one)

  • OMG. I totally use the cookie press every Christmas, and I love the Magic Bullet. N loves smoothies, and that is what it is best for. I have a food processor (ok, 2, a mini and a regular size one) that I use for anything else. I love that he can use the Bullet instead of the blender, because it makes a much smaller mess to clean up, and you can make it right in the "mug".  He loves it too, and he can never remember what it's called, and always ends up calling it the "Mr. Blitzer". He's weird.

I really do use all of my gadgets. . . Although I did have a roommate once who had a George Foreman Grill, and we never used that thing once.

Every time N gets pissy about airport security, he talks about how someone could just strap one of those babies to his thigh and walk right through the metal detector. Comforting, really.
