Has anyone read Super Freakonomics?
There's an interesting chapter in there about how injecting Sulfur Dioxide (or something...I could have the gas wrong) into the stratosphere can cool the planet to such a point that global warming is reversed. One company has come up with a plan to do this that would cost less than what Al Gore's organization spends just on "raising awareness" for climate change. The controversy is that you're basically fighting pollution with another form of pollution.
There's also a chapter about how child safety seats are actually no safer for children than a properly-worn seatbelt.
If you've read it, WDYT? If you haven't, can we start a book club so I can make you all read it and then we can discuss it?
Re: s/o Climate Change

I loved it. I loved Freakonomics as well, but this one had monkey prostitutes, so automatically, it was way more awesome.
