Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. PIP: Ben & his Great-Grandma
Ben was a HUGE hit in NY this weekend! My Nan (Grandmother) is doing about as well as can be expected. Emphysema is a truly awful disease. She's not nearly the same person she was just one year ago, and it is sad, but I am so thankful she got to meet Ben!!! It brought me to tears to see how her face truly *lit up* when she saw him. She was having a particularly rough day with her breathing, but when we put Ben on her lap, she was beaming and so in love. It was so unbelievable!
I asked her how she was feeling. She said, and I quote, " Eh. Whaddya gonna do? They keep trying to make me go back to rehab! And just like Amy Winehouse (now she turns and glares at my Aunt) I tell them- NO NO NO!" I almost peed myself I was laughing so hard!! We should all hope to have this much spunk at 79, right??

Thats so great that he got to meet her and get a picture with her. I am sure that she is still beaming about thought of him!
ps- thats frickin hilarious about her rehab comment!!
