I was wondering if anyone had any advice for a new military wife who is not living on a base. Anything would help! Thanks
Re: Military Newlywed
sdsu, i didn't realize your husband was enlisted in the navy; i thought he was a civilian working for the government. i should have paid attention. sorry!

I would try what the previous poster suggested. Try a new church, volunteering, going to a GTG on this board. I know the ladies on here have a few.
I'll be new in San Diego too in Feb, and I'll only know my cousin who lives there now, and she's in the Navy Reserves and her husband is Marines.
I hope to meet some of the ladies off the board at a GTG. I know it's hard to meet other ladies when you come from having family and friends around to not knowing anyone.
Thank you so much for the advice those are some good ideas.
?
Princesskl, I am living in Sd right now. The hike tgt sounds like it would be fun, where are you hiking at???
