We're going the first weekend in June. I'm getting ready to book my flights here soon. The kiddo and I are really looking forward to it.
DH is being a stick in the mud about going...and he's not even going to come for the full week (due to a lack of vacation days). Oh well, his loss. The kiddo and I are going to have fun regardless of my aunt or DH.
When are you going?
If you haven't tried it, my sister, brother and oodles of others swear by tour guide mike. It gives all sorts of tips and tricks for Disney. You can pre-plan and check on updates as you go. He even tells you where to stand for any given parade.
The last time I was there was almost 20 years ago. I'm very excited to be going. DH has never been, but he has heard 'horror' stories about going there (i.e. the cost, the lines, the this, the that).
Thing is, I'm getting the accom. for dirt cheap, BIL is in the military, so he has access to really cheap park tix, we're going to share a rental car, and we're staying in two bedroom condos that have kitchens, so we don't have eat out every.single.day.
SO DH needs to GTFO it or not come.
No...The kiddo has not been. And the funny thing...usually the kiddo follows H's likes and dislikes. H *cannot* shake him off the Disney train, no matter how much he isht talks about it. I think it's hysterical.
The kiddo really wants him to go. So I hope he does. I think he's just being a PITA because he can. He'll end up coming down to FL.It's just one of those package deals.
There WILL be lines, it WILL be expensive but it's special so get over it, right?
Pretty much. And we're doing it as cheap as humanly possible, because we're lucky enough to get some breaks. So blah, DH, blah.
