Dear Community,

Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.

Thank you.

Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.

Any chance someone knows how to get rid of this virus...

UGH!!!

It's the stupid google redirect virus.  I google something; click on the link and takes me to an advertisement site, etc.

This is why I have Macs at home.

Any ideas on how to fix it.  I've run my malware software but it's not finding anything.

  • In your Control Panel go to your Hardware Device Manager.  Select show Hidden Devices.  Search for TDSSserv.sys, right click it and Disable.  Do not click Uninstall or it will re install later.  Reboot and immediately update and run virus protection software.  If that doesn't work you can do a system restore.  You can email me at sannice1979 at gmail.com if you need help.
