Anyone watch the Olympics last night?
I thought the speed skating relay was dangerous until I saw the women's slalom. Holy hell. I do not know how one gets the urge to fly down an icy mountain at 80 mph with very little protection.
I said to my H, "Shani Davis seems like a nice guy." He said, "You can tell that from watching him skate?" Yes, I can.
Shaun White is CA-RAZY.
I forgot how much fun it is to sit on the couch and chant, "USA! USA!" whenever our team wins.

The crash that the Swedish chick had at the bottom of the mountain literally made me scream Oh My God! repeatedly. It was just awful!!
When they cut to the Vonn, she was saying the same thing. It's just so bad to watch.
Loved watching Shani Davis win gold!
Oh, I know! It was terrible! When they showed Vonn's crash in Turin, I could NOT believe she competed 2 days later!
See, I missed the replay of Vonn's crash. I think I can only take seeing one of those in a single night.
The just look like ragdolls bouncing down the mountain. Ugh.
The women's event had me cringing. It looked painful when they ate it and it looked like they had little control as they sped down the hill. My husband was like, "My tactic would be to just survive!"
I yelled out "OH!" when the guy from the Japanese team fell on his face on the half pipe.

Shaun White was awesome. I just cannot believe how good he is, and then to score even better on your "victory" run!!
Yep, I did also. But, I only caught the last hour or so of it. It was suprisingly fun to watch. Glad to see Shawn White win.
