New Keyboards ?

Did anyone else hear that "they" are making new keyboards that will be alphabetical?  First row will be A-J, 2nd will be K-S and the 3rd will be T-Z (or something like that).

What are your thoughts?  Would you use it?

I doubt I would ever use it.  I learned to type on the current keyboard and I think I would be lost switching over.

I am curious as to why they would change it? I would probably stick with the current way just bc it is what I am used to.

It kind of makes sense - the only reason the QWERTY keyboard exists was that keeping certain common letters further apart prevented jamming in typewriters.  I am really used to the keyboards we use now, but I'd probably figure it out if they were changed.  I doubt the "new" keyboards will become very popular, though.
