OMG, I ALSO have excema around my eye! This is the first time I've ever hard it ... does it happen to you often? I'm not sure if it's from stress or just being back in this awful tundra-like weather for the first time in years.

It hasn't happened in a long time actually. The first time I got it, it was right after my granfather died. Both me and my mom got it and finally she dragged me along to her dermatologist appointment. It's nearly impossible to get rid of without their creams and GP's usually won't give it to you when it gets near your eye. Arrrrrg.
The weather is a big part of it. You live in a city too, right? So probably do more walking around outside than most. Between that and the dry heat inside along with stress - shabang. I hate it, I haven't been able to wear eye make-up for two weeks.
I'm pretty sure in my case it's stress. The past month has been nuts for me, but I think it can be purely environmental too.
Such a bummer! And it's sooo ugly. My doctor prescribed some steroid cream but I haven't taken it yet because I'm weird about medicine. I'm hoping it'll just go away on its own!
