Confession session
I feel like we haven't done one of these in awhile.
1. I don't care about the olympics. At all. My facebook newsfeed has been full of Olympic updates and it's getting annoying. People seem to think they're the first to bring olympic news to the world by posting it in their facebook status; you're not, so knock it off. No one cares.
2. along those lines, I don't care about Tiger Woods or his apology. He's a golfer, for goodness sake, not a world a leader. I don't give a f who he f'd. And it should not be news.
3. I've been looking for another forum to cheat on you with, as you have gotten slow lately. The nest in general has been slow this week, resulting in actual work being done at my desk. I guess it's a good thing, but damn these days are loooong.

1. I am so glad we don't have TV right now so I don't have to have the channels dominated by Winter Olympics. I also hate Shaun White. He's obnoxious.
2. I also don't get the appeal of being pregnant. I'm still waiting for it to get enjoyable. I'm just so damn uncomfortable all the time and I know it's only going to get worse. I feel ungrateful for saying that. I love my baby, but I'm sure I'd love him just as much if I didn't birth him. Also, he better be really cute.
Are these supposed to be flame-free? Because Pmeg, I'm judging you real hard for that second statement. The living baby inside you is the enjoyable part.
Edit: My addition. I confess I haven't done nearly as much packing/moving as DH has, but the kitchen colors are awesome and the house decor will be great when I'm done.

I told my hair stylist that I didn't want to become baby obsessed or fertility obsessed more specifically. I don't know if that's really flameworthy, but I'm sure someone will be offended.
I am happy H won't be home tonight. No reason, just cause.

1. Every time I've tried to turn on the Olympics it's some godawfully boring event like Hockey. I will watch curling and figure skating if they happen to be on when I turn on the TV, but I just can't get excited about them.
2. I agree that we've been boring lately. We need more beebees. Is TK working any faster lately? Maybe we should head back over to EI for some fun.
3. I finally got my resume together yesterday, but I'm too skeered to send it out. I don't think it's very good, and I fear rejection. But I want a job now, mostly so I don't have to spend 24/7 with the dog. Also because I think H will be more willing to TTC with an extra income.

as much as i hate grad school right now, i fear for its end because i will go back to being boring and i will miss my classmates. people find students interesting, and then i will go back to having a nothing job and being dumb. maybe i should join a fight club.

#1 I am Olympic indifferent. Although when I do watch, I always find myself cheering against the US - not because I hate the US, but I don't get any joy out of seeing any one country get tons of medals. I like it when the little guys win.
#2 I am always intruiged by the funky nail polish colors, but I tend to stick to pale pink or clear. I bought bright red a few days ago and enjoyed that, so last night I got crazy and bough blue-green. It is just too weird on my fingers. My hands look like they belong to a witch.

one of my classmates is one of the dumbest people i have ever met. i want to punch her right in her junk drawer every time she opens her mouth to share her stupid thoughts. maybe it's because she's young -- everything relates back to her undergrad -- but i also think it's because she is insanely dumb.
she's also an uptalker, which i find highly annoying. i wish she had posted her class plan just so i can make sure i am not taking any of the same classes.
Turns out the cocktail reception I was invited to does not mean I am a B tier guest. The couple is getting married at the JOP. No one is going to the ceremony. I don't understand this though, because they are laying down loads of cash. I guess they understand their friends are huge booze hounds...or, they are serving the most of the hook apps ever.
Still, we aren't driving 6+ hours for a cocktail party. We can make our own for less than what we spend on gas/
#1: Only certain things interest me. I enjoyed men's figure skating last night. That's about it, so far. I'll watch hockey when that comes on
#2: A bunch of DH's fellow law skool students are going out tonight. He would like to go. I don't. My eyes are still healing from Lasik and I can't wear eye makeup. So I can go and look like death or I can wear sunglasses and look like a jackazz. I choose neither.
Just because someone's pregnant, and other people aren't who want to be, doesn't negate the hell that pregnancy can be. Meg's entitled to be uncomfortable, FFS.
1. Go USA! I don't know much about all the olympic sports. I've learned a lot about curling this time. I wonder who came up with that shizz, or better why?
2. I love going to other people's weddings. Shun away.

I took it as she was saying that she hates the way pregnancy makes her body feel. Not that she hates the baby she is having. I could be wrong?
If someone skimmed over it, I could see where it could be taken a different way.
I've heard women IRL say you either love pregnancy or hate it. Not that they hated the baby, but that pregnancy changes your body so, that you can be quite miserable.
