The U.S. Botanical Center? A.MAZING. They're having an orchid show and I could've spent a whole day there, if it weren't for the stupid tourists and their incessant intheway-ery and bumpintoeverythingness.
It's a gorgeous day here, so I slushed over to the Nat'l Gallery's sculpture garden. While I was taking a picture, some dude walked behind me and - literally in my ear - said, "GOOD EYE."
Photography: Not an Olympic spectator sport. And if it were, it sure as hell wouldn't be in the Winter Olympics. (Suck on that, hmo.)
Pics are uploading now. I'm all asquee to play with them.
Oh! And coconut M&Ms? Like an orgy of goodness in my mouth.
I needed today. TGIMFF.

I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
The Botanical Garden is my FAVORITE place in all DC.
Which sculpture garden did you go to? The one around the Hirschorn has my favorite piece, which looks like a column of wire and sticks, but if you walk into the center and look up, all the wires and sticks make a series of stars.
My second favorite is at the sculpture garden by the national gallery. It's a little yellow house that looks all cool and 3D, and when you get close you realize it's inside out (I described that awesomely).
