Exhausting weekend

I've been back in my house with DH and the dog for about 2 hours.  I spent all weekend with my Mom so we could be at the hospital with my Dad.  He went into the hospital on Friday so it's been a really, really long weekend.  Now I'm catching up on the laundry that didn't get done and all I really want to do is get in a hot shower and sit on the floor for about an hour.  Tomorrow he has two tests on his leg and hopefully we'll find out when he gets to go home.  I worry about whether his leg will get better (it's infected, swollen and the doctor was concerned about whether or not he would keep it) , how they will pay for the hospital bill (as they have no insurance), and how they will pay their bills until Dad is able to go back to work.  I wonder if I could drink and take a shower at the same time.  Sigh.

Hopefully tomorrow is a better day.

I'm late on this, but you and your family are in my t&p.  Good luck and make sure to allow yourself some time to rest, too.  Easier said than done, I know, but your health is important, too.  Hugs!

I'm really sorry about your dad.  Take a deep breath and just take one day at a time.  A bottle of wine always helps.   T&P!

Thanks ladies.  I really appreciate all your T&P.  I know that he's exactly where he needs to be and we'll get everything fixed.  It's just the waiting that's the hardest party (as we all know).  Thanks again, though!
