Bridal shower brunch - menu thoughts?
I was thinking of having it at 10 a.m.
Menu consisting of:
Pastries/muffins
fruit bowl
frittas
some sort of casserole
coffee/juice
What else?
Re: Bridal shower brunch - menu thoughts?
ooh..mini quiche. good idea
Not sure yet. 10-12 ppl I'm guess
I think it's a good start, but it's pretty breakfast-heavy.
I would pull in more protein, like mini crabcakes or shrimp and grits. If you're doing frittatas, I would forego the quiche. That would just be egg overload.
Agrred with Kim. Add a fresh green salad and some sort of lunch protein. If you do the fritatas skip the quiche, Yogurt is cheap and easy to add.
What's up for dessert?
for my sister's bridal shower brunch we did: quiche (2 kinds), breakfast potato casserole, monkey bread & mini muffins & sweet breads, fruit kabobs (they were a lot of work but such a hit!), honey baked ham w/ small rolls & mustards & 2 salads.
And make-your-own ice cream sundaes for dessert b/c my sis loves 'em!
