Re: Doggie Play Date?

  • My cat would FREAK if I took him to a doggie park! LOL!

  • Maybe. I'm not sure how Max would handle a dog park. Where is it? I'm way far West so I know there isn't one near me...though Woodlawn Lake might as well be! *rofl*
  • I wish I could, but one of my pups is kind of nuts and has decided to be mean and unpredictable on our walks (just to other dogs, never to people). I've been working with him and it's been slowly improving, but I'd be way too anxious right now to think about sending him out free with other dogs where it'd be so easy to pick a fight.  Sounds like it'd be a lot of fun though!
  • LOL I can only imagine!! you should have seen how may dogs were at McAllister Park!! Had to be 20-25dogs!!

Its really nice, and everyone is really good at staying with their dogs to make sure nothing bad happens. This was our 2nd time there and we had a blast!!

Oh my gosh...he probably wouldn't make it out of the car! He freezes if he even hears a dog bark from the house!

  • I go to McAllister all of the time for stuff. Never realized it was now being considered a dog park. :p

There is a special section of the park that has been made into a dog park. You can let your dog off of it's leash inside this fenced area. We have been there quite a few times. The dogs act better than you would expect. Freak outs are few and far between and are usually short lived and mild. It's a really fun place to go.
