How was everyone's weekend?
I guess I can go first.
So I wanted to have a relaxing weekend but ended up doing lots of stuff. Friday DH worked overtime so we just went to dinner. Saturday I got a manicure, went shopping, saw Shutter Island then went to Transit Lounge at night for a friends birthday. Sunday I got to relax during the day then we went to a family dinner for my sisters birthday.
Re: How was everyone's weekend?
I just studied all weekend. This is midterms week for me so I had lots of last minute details to go over. DH worked all weekend so the house was nice and quiet for myself and my classmate who slept over so we could maximize our study time.
I am looking forward to this upcoming weekend. I am getting a facial, mani/pedi and flying home for a baby shower and to see some friends.
I also did alot of homework! We went to the Jay Z concert on Saturday and I also volunteered Saturday Morning. Sunday was pretty lazy day. DH and I went and ate chinese and then picked some friends up from the airport, thats about it.

Myomectomy Sept.09 removed/fibroid the size of a cantaloupe. Began ttc March 2010.
HSG clear/ S/A normal. July stopped tempting.
First IuI, Clomid and Ovideral. 8/14 and 08/15=BFN!

Well this weekend felt pretty crazy! Friday we went to a carnival that MIL organizes every year and pretty much pigged out!!! If any of you get a chance to try a "Chori Pan" sandwich from Argentina I say try it...they are awesome!!! Anyhow Saturday I had a baby shower and later had dinner with my SIL & BIL they are chefs so they cooked for us!!! Yum!!!! Sunday we went church, had a fundraiser after, later on I attended my Pators ordination ceremony (never been to one of those before) and then went to the symphony. I had never been to the symphony before either, but I absolutely loved it!!!
How was Shutter Island? Was it scary?
DH is Argentine so I know the deliciousness that is a chori pan. So yummy.
Shutter Island was pretty good. I wasn't disappointed. I would say it was not scary but I think that depends on the viewer. There were a few moments that I jumped. But nothing compared to a movie like Saw. I guess I would call it a semi scary movie.
I had an eventful weekend as well, probably why I am exhausted today!!
Friday, I went to happy hour after work for like 3 hours (long time!) and then went for a late sushi dinner with DH.
Saturday, DH and I went out to eat with my parents and my brother and SIL and our nieces. Afterwards we went to my brother's house and stayed talking till late at night.
Yesterday, my best friend came over to eat with DH and I at home and then she and I stayed and we watched a bunch of tv shows and talked.
Today I am POOPED.
