Nashville restaurants & mid century furniture
Hi all ~
DH and I will be in Nashville for a couple days and are looking for a great local restaurant for dinner. It needs to have at least 1 meatless entree but other than that, we're open to anything. What would you recommend? We'll have a car.
Also, this may be a really random question but does anyone know of stores that carry vintage mid century furniture or home decor? I found Highbrow but it looks like they only carry new stuff.
Thanks!
Tired after a long morning of hiking and swimming.

There are tons of great places to eat in Nashville. You might try Monell's. It is all served family-style (so you sit at a big table with others), and they always have several salads and vegetables, bread, 2 meats, and dessert. Southern cooking and bit of a different dining experience. You can easily fill up without eating the meat.

There are so many great local restaurants. You can check out Nashville Originals for list of many.
Also, my husband and I are vegetarians and love this place called Bound'ry. Awesome atmosphere, and if you ask they have a vegan menu (as well as some regular meatless menu items).
There's a new place in east Nash that I haven't been to yet, but am dying to try: The Wild Cow. It's totally vegetarian with gluten free and vegan options as well.
Tayst is excellent and they always have vegetarian options. They change their menu seasonally, but the website should give you a good idea of what they offer.
I'd also recommend Margot Cafe, Watermark, Germantown Cafe, and Cityhouse. (all should have websites).
Try Retropolitan in Hillsboro Village for mid-century furniture and other pieces.
Also, 2Danes has mid-century modern furniture and decor, but I think it's all "new".
