How did the GTG go?

Just wondering how the get together on Sunday went!  I was stuck at work, and won't be able to make the next one due to work too.  For only working 3 days a week I seem to always be working when things are happening!   Hopefully I'll be able to get to a GTG one of these days!

Oh, and I know EXACTLY how you feel. Mine actually went away for about a week, and I thought I was past it. It came back with a vengeance this weekend, so I guess I'm not in the all-clear yet.

I had a great time too!  I am looking forward to more, and Stacy your dip was super yummy! CJ was jealous when told him about it, and then I showed him the cupcake I brought home for him and he was happy again... it is pretty easy to make him happy   Can't wait to meet you other girls too

So was everyone about the same age?  I'm kind of nervous to go and find out that I don't have much in common with anyone.

You can always come to one and see what you think, everyone yesterday was super friendly. so i would say just come to one and see what you think, and if you would be more comfortable do one where the boys are included so your hubby is there with you

Where are they planning on bowling?  What part of the valley do you live in?  I'm trying to make friends, but I never have much luck.

We haven't decided on a location for bowling yet, but I live in Surprise it is way way way WAY west lol just kidding. but i think we were going to try and find something pretty cnetral since we are kinds og all over the valley

I also found it difficult to meet some new poeple because my time is usualyl consumed by work or school so since moving here i haven't really met alot of people.

Oh ok, well when they figure out the location I'll know better if we can attend. 

Surprise is so far from me!!!  I'm in Fountain Hills.  Its really hard for me to connect with girls my age, and it doesn't help that I have zero free time.  I was one of the first girls to get married after graduation, so I have nothing in common with most of the people I went to school with. 

 Anyways!  I saw that your wedding is coming up, do you have a lot left to do?  How long have you been engaged?

Glad it all went well. Sorry I couldnt make it, let me know about bowling, that is always fun. I live out in Chandler but Fountain Hills isnt that far since I drive up to Raintree for work everyday.

I have been engaged since Oct 2 2009 and our wedding is eight months from tomorrow.  Umm, I have booked everything but the florist and I actually won a wedding planner when I went to the bridal fair, so that was pretty cool,  mostly I just have the fun detaily kinds of thngs, like song list, centerpieces, invitations, and dress and get a ring for CJ my fiance lol... I almost forgot about that the other day.  Lol Surprise is far from everyone! lol it is pretty far out there, but i think they were going to make it pretty central so people cam come to the bowling night, and if you can't make that one there are always others

Wow that's great that you've gotten all the major to-do's out of the way.  What venue did you guys choose?  What are your colors?  My florist was very inexpensive and depending on the location of your venue I'm sure he could accommodate your wedding.  He's located in Fountain Hills, but he delivered to our venue, Stonebridge Manor (east Mesa) at no extra charge.  Whats it like having a wedding planner?  Is she very involved with the contracting or is she more of an itinerary/day of assistant?

Our venue is Sun City Grand here in Surpirse, ouir colors are Pink (like a magenta) or if you familar with daivds bridal it is watermelon and a clery/sage green and chocolate brown.  Oh ok, maybe you could P me his info, thanks.  It is amazing, i am still going school full time online and work full time so it is nice tohave someone who remembers things i might forget, she is helping with wording on invites, and save he date, seating chart, because who honestly wants to think about who like who on there big day and all the day of/day before stuff.  It is valued at $3,000 so she would do it all if we hadn't gotten most of the dirty work done early.  Also her company does the candy buffetts but my sister so i am having a cookie/pastry buffett! I am so excited about that i love food and sweet especially lol I am getting so excited, i can't wait to be a Mrs!  I found a really great man so i know i got it right i am sure you know what i mean.

You're welcome! Yeah, I was very relieved that the new oven did ok, haha. My former oven, may she rest in peace, was so old but so predictable. I was scared to try to build a relationship with a new one.
