Can you recomend your homemade version? I need a recipe, and would perfer for it to be liquid so I can just put it in the container that we have for our current store bought detergent.
Side Note:
I told MIL and SIL that I plan on switching to homemade once our current detergent runs out. MIL says that she will buy us some deteregent, and offers the "All Free and Clear" brand, I guess she thinks that's a more EF option. SIL tell DH that he can come do laundry at her house. LOL. I guess we'll see!

Re: Liquid Laundry Detergent
Here is what I do and why: http://moregreenforlessgreen.blogspot.com/search/label/Laundry%20Soap
.
Thank You so much! Do you find that it cleans/deoderizes as well as conventional? Also, what amount do you use for each load?
I have not noticed any drawback with cleanliness or odor. It really is just plain great! We use about 1/4 cup per load. I got a plastic ladle at a yard sale that holds a smidge over 1/4 c. and that lives in the bucket and is how we measure and "pour".
Well, All detergent doesn't test on animals which makes me happy. They are now owned by Sun Products Corp which is on the good list on caringsconsumer.com
I don't think it's very "green" though.
