XP: Opinions on Seventh Generation
I keep seeing the commercials for these products. I am interested in using eco-friendly cleaning supplies once the regular ones we have are done, especially once we move into our new home.
If you do not care for Seventh Generation, do you have any other suggestions for great cleaning, that leaves a super clean fresh result.
Thanks!
Re: XP: Opinions on Seventh Generation
They're more expensive than conventional cleaning products, and like mw says, you can make your own for less than conventional cleaning products. And "making" really isn't a serious chore, I use 1 or 2 ingredients in most cases.
But I think they're a good stepping stone for people used to buying "____ cleaner" in a bottle.
Agreed. It was our stepping stone from conventional to making my own cleaners, which really is not hard at all. We still use the laundry detergent when it's on sale.
Tired after a long morning of hiking and swimming.
I use their cleaners and really like them.
I'm also going to stop using their laundry detergent and dish soap though since is has SLS - that really annoyed me to find that out.
I love their all purpose cleaner so much though that I'll keep using it. I tried to make my own, but DH hated the smell, so I go with that.
For laundry detergetnt, I use crunchy clean - www.crunchyclean.com
Still up in the air on dish washer detergent though.
