So all day at work I was thinking about your macaroon cookies! They are so declicious an I couldn't wait to get home to have one... ok maybe two   I was wondering if this a recipe that you are willing to share or is it a top secret family one?  I know how it is to have those top secret family ones, I have a few my mom all but made us sign away our lives to not give out   But they are best macaroons, seriuosly the best I have ever had

I'm so glad you liked them! They are ridiculously easy to make, and I'm happy to share the recipe! I do have some top-secret family recipes, but this is one I just found in one of those little baking magazines you find in the grocery store aisle, haha. Ohh, the holiday ones are the best! I got a recipe for pumpkin cookies with cream cheese frosting out of a halloween magazine,and I make them every year. My Grandma bought me a cool one, too, that is all cake mix recipes, and you can tear out each recipe to take with you to shop for ingredients at the store. I've made probably 10 things out of that little magazine, and they've all turned out great. I have lots of big, fancy cookbooks, but those little magazines are always just as good, haha.

That is too funny, i love baking and finding interest recipies to try... and having tear out pages it the best! i bought one like that for Christmas cookies and it was awesome to just take the little card to the store with me   That is too funny about your old oven being so predictable, it is funny how we get attached to things huh... I had this one knife that was my absolute favortie and when i moved fro my mom's to my apartment i realized i didn't have it and now my mom is holding it hostage!

I think we should all def have a baking day would be so much fun!

I totally know what you mean about being attached to your cool knife! I have a mixing bowl (with a rubber bottom) and a little metal spatula that I'm in love with. One of my FAVORITE wedding gifts that we received was a glass pyrex measuring cup and a set of stainless steel measuring cups. I was so excited when I opened those, haha. A baking day would be so fun! We def have to do that.
