Connor is waking up at 4:30am!
He goes down @ 7pm every night. Wakes up once maybe twice a night but he is waking up for the day at 4:30!!! I try to nurse him back to sleep like we usedto, he would nurse and go back down till about 6:30 -7, which is more like it!!
I do not want to have him go to bed any later since we have had this routine since he's been about 2 months and he starts yawning typically around 6:15-6:30 when we do bath time. PLus I would have to push his bedtime back if we did move it.
So, anywho does anyone else's DC wake early like this? or did they go through a phase and it went back?
Re: Connor is waking up at 4:30am!
ugh, that stinks for you! but hey if you ever want to babysit come on over so momma can sleep! lol
ditto all that. Pushing his time off of what his "clock" is set at disrupts everything PLUS he his wake up at the same time ugh I really hope that his internal clock adjusts!!
If he is waking for the day at 4:30am, I wouldn't go to him until 7am - he'll get the idea eventually that no one is going to come to him...because if you go to him he will start waking for the day earlier and earlier to get your company...
Austin usually wakes around 5:30am to eat...well this morning he woke up at 5:30am for the day...I made the mistake of going to him to feed him, because that is what he usually does....nope, he's been up since then, so I won't make that mistake again tomorrow!
Charlotte tries this on occasion. Momma is having NONE of that. I'll try to nurse her back to sleep and if that doesn't work I just lay her down in bed with me and she usually drifts off. I think she just doesn't want to be in her crib at that point and she knows if she falls asleep she'll end up back in there.
As far as the internal clock thing goes, is his room dark? We have miniblinds whcih don't do crap for room darkening but Evan pinned towels over the windows and it really seemed to help. Good luck hun! 4-5 is WAY too early!
