As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I just need to complain for a moment, is that ok? GOOD!
So I think I am getting a sinus infection. I feel like poo! My head hurts, I have a fever, throat hurts, dizzy and ears hurt....but so many people are out lately that I HAVE to be here. If not, I'm scared I'd get fired 
and not only do I have to be here, but I have to help catch up on the work that the people who aren't here (obviously) aren't doing.
And to top it all off (first let me let you know I work 4 tens mon-thurs with fri, sat and sun off) I get here this morning and we have an e-mail telling us that since so many people are out, we have to work tomorrow. Great, I was so hoping to rest tomorrow! plus I have another plastic surgeons appt, Penelopes vet visit and I think one is at 10 and another at 2....so I guess I will come in, go to plastic surgeons, come back with swollen lip, work, leave -take P to the vet, come back?? UGH I'm scared to tell her all this b/c she's stressed from all the folks being out... I don't want to make her mad.

You can always vent! I've been fighting my sinuses this last week too. If you don't already use one I'd suggest a Neti Pot. It's helped me a lot. Also, I know you have to be careful with nose sprays etc, but a menthol type nose spray always helps at the onset of a sinus infection. Hot beverages never hurt either!
I hope you feel better! I would think your manager would understand that you scheduled your dr's and vets apointments so that you wouldn't have to miss work. Is the vet and the plastic surgeon's office near your work office? You'll have to go clear home to get the dog though right? Maybe you could reschedule both appointments for the late afternoon and just leave work a couple hours early?
