Mercer, which focuses on premium denim for women, will be closing its doors at The Shops at Mission Viejo next month. It has no other stores in Orange County.

An employee said it has been at that location for six or seven years and its last day will be March 14. A call to Mercer?s corporate office was not returned.

Its closing sale features major-label jeans for $49.90, including Citizens of Humanity, Paige, True Religion, J Brand, Joe?s Jeans and Union.

Casual tops are sorted into a $10-$30 rack, which includes Michael Stars, and a $10-$50 rack, which includes Diane von Furstenberg and Trina Turk.

Casual dresses, including Velvet and Project Vintage, are priced at $10-$50. Alternative brand hoodies are $37. Pants, corduroys and trousers are $30.

Mercer has four other locations around the country in Seattle; Sammamish, Wash.; Bellevue, Wash.; and Palo Alto.
