Co-worker is competing for wedding!
Hi everyone! I have a favor to ask. There are multiple posts of this, I'm know. I know I don't normally post on here - basically because I'm just a lurker. But anyhoo - I work with this guy Joel Mies. Him and his fiance are in the running for 92.5 Kiss FM Andrew Z's Married on the Maumee People's Choice Wedding, which is an all expenses paid wedding of your dreams. Please go to the following website and click on the Andrew Z's Married on the Maumee Vote Now and vote for him.
www.925kissfm.com
You can either take my word for it or read below, but he is a really nice guy - he just hasn't had the best of luck lately, which is why I figured I could help a little to change his luck around. Voting lasts from Wed. Aug 13 to Sun Aug 17, so PLEASE vote as soon as possible. If you have access to more than one computer - vote on both! It'll better his chances! Thanks so much!
A little about him and her in his own words. . .
About Us: Hi! My name is Joel Mies and my lovely fianc?e is Yolanda Carmony. We are two crazy, fun loving individuals that have been together for over Six and Half years. We met at our first job, which was a Chinese Restaurant, attended high school together and have been together ever since! I am currently 21 years old and Yolanda is 23 years old.
What winning Andrew Z?s Married on the Maumee People?s Choice Wedding would mean to us: Winning this contest would mean the world to the both of us. We have been engaged for over a year now and have been forced to take on the financial burden of paying for a wedding by ourselves because we have no help. After several attempts of trying to save up money for a wedding, we have run into multiple streaks of bad luck financially! We have watched several of our friends get married after only being together for a year or less and wonder when we will get our chance!
With the cost of living rising and our mounting college loans, we are becoming more worried that we will never have the chance to have a wedding of our dreams. I understand that we could very easily go downtown and get married, but that is not what I promised Yolanda when we got engaged. I promised her that I would do everything in my power to give her a memorable wedding that she could hold onto for the rest of her life. Winning this contest would not only make Yolanda ecstatic, but it would fulfill the promises that I made to the love of my life on October 21st. Oh yeah ... did I mention that August 11th is my birthday and winning this contest would make a great birthday present!!!
