I have been using tea lights to burn a EO burner... and am beginning to realize how wasteful those little tins are. First, are they recyclable... second is there anyone that has them in a more EF way?
Re: Using Tealights
You'll have to check with your local recycling but here we they are, however it is best if we separate the little metal bit at the bottom from the cup. The little metal thing is steel and the cup is aluminum. If they are separated then each can be recycled, otherwise only the aluminum does any good. For us if there is a tiny bit of wax at the bottom, it is fine.
