Ok ladies.  We are moving soon and trying to figure out which one we want to go with.  We currently have directv but have heard alot about Dish and Cable.  Which one do you have/like?  Thanks![Poll]

I wish I had a good answer for you, but we only use the antenna.  My parents, however, use Dish and have since I was a teenager.  They hardly pay anything (but that might be because they've been with them so long), and have all the foreign channels which is the main reason they got it.

Not much help with your poll.  We have Time Warner Cable and like it well enough.  Never had a problem with it, anyway.

Currently we have regular cable.  But, I had DirecTV at an apartment several years ago...and it was a nightmare.  They never finished the installation, kept saying they'd be back the next day, and nobody ever showed.  When I finally just said forget it and ordered cable, I tried to contact DirecTV to tell them to come get their dish.  They wanted to charge me over $300 for breach of contract....even thought I never signed the paperwork showing the installation was complete and they never completed anything.  I didn't have any television service through them.  IDK what others' experiences with them are like, but that was my experience.  GL!!

We currently have directv and we love it. We have had it for 3 yrs and I have had nothing but great service. We had cable at one point and I was tired of paying $75 a month for 79 channels. Now we pay $140 but we have tons and tons of channels, 2 dvrs, and 1 regular box. I know people that have dish and they love it.

We've had Dish Network for 4 years and love it.  We have over 220 channels, 2 receivers, the DVR feature, and we pay a little over $70 per month.  We did have a receiver die last year (DH used to work for Radio Shack and says dish receivers are made pretty cheaply-not to last) but we just called them up and they mailed us a new one. Love it!
