nhdeeds.com???

Hi ladies,

A nestie here who hardly seems to post anymore (living with the IL's without our computer, and just busy in general)...

Anyway, I hoping you lovelies can help me out.  I learned about nhdeeds from this site, I know someone mentioned they used it to find out how much someone still owed on their mortgage.

We are in the process of putting in an offer on a home that just went into forclosure a few days ago...we had looked at it twice and submitted an offer before the forclosure, but the owner's skipped town and never returned their agents calls.  Anyway, we are hoping to find out what they owned to make an educated decsion about the offer we submit to the bank.

 TIA!!!!!!!!!

Re: nhdeeds.com???

  • You can just go on there and find pretty much any homeowners information on their mortgage situation...theres no signing up or anything. Just type in their last name.  I used to use it a ton when I worked at a Real Estate company.
  • There's also www.visionappraisal.com where you can go and see the price they paid and what year they bought it in, not all the mortgage details as nhdeeds.com but more of the house details like sq ftg and how many rms, 3beds, 2 baths, whatever. Though not all towns are featured on it. Good luck.
  • Pretty much what Stacy said.  :)
  • Thanks, ladies! See, I don't know their last name, that was the problem.  Although, it was on the offer we wrote up over a month ago, so I should go dig that out.
  • Well on visionappraisal if the town is on there you can look up by address instead and then their name will be on that and then go to nhdeeds...HTH.
