I made it for her. I used this pattern http://butterick.mccall.com/b5439-products-3183.php?page_id=378 it runs big, so her little bloomers didn't peek out as much.
They fabric came from a local quilt shop that carried the Eric Carle prints. I know you can order them online.
I cut out the caterpillar and the butterfly from one of the panels and then used iron on webbing to stick it to the fabric. I zig zagged around the edges, just to make sure they didn't come off.
It was my first time sewing an outfit and it wasn't as scary as I thought it would be.
