Local CSA food groups in Greenwood??

This is probably a really BIG long shot but...

a few months back I found a church here in the Greenwood area that had a local CSA pick up site at their church location. I have been searching online for a few hours now and can't seem to find it again. Does anyone know what church this is??  Or of another really good CSA here in the Greenwood area?  This particular one allowed you to view what would be coming in the upcoming boxes and you could pay based on what you wanted, veggies, add meats, etc. I really wanted to join for this upcoming farm season and now can't find it for the life or me!  Any ideas or help??  If so, email me at heavncentt at gmail dot com.  Thank you girls!!

Re: Local CSA food groups in Greenwood??

  • I don't know off hand but I feel like I saw a sign for one the other day.  Greenwood Christian is about the only church I pass regularly, but I really don't think it was there.  I know there is a farmer's market at the Greenwood Public Library on Saturdays.  I'll keep my eyes out for it.
  • I haven't seen one, but I want to say there was a market business that did CSA pick up and they aren't doing it this year :(

I contacted one of the CSAs that delivers in this area and they had a mistake on their website about the southside pick ups.

Please post if you find out.

Move along, nothing to see here.....
  • I'm not sure about pick-ups (although I'm pretty sure they have some) but these guys will deliver to your house...Here is the copy from the last email I got from them. They are very nice. DH and I tried it once, but it wasn't really for us.

If you got this e-mail we need to be told you want a delivery this month.  The meat upgrade (+$30) is a beef grille package.  Vegan upgrades (+$30) are now available!  Extra eggs are still available (+$4).  We are still on "winter" pricing ($55/$75).

Please reply quickly if you want "in" in April.
