GTG Thursday, August 28

Hi girls!!!  I think we can set up this GTG for Thursday, August 28 and see what happens, we could make it a monthly thing after that!!!  So here are the options:

 [POLL]

I was thinking 6:00 or 7:00 would work out better for everyone.  Thoughts???

Re: GTG Thursday, August 28

  • Sorry, I'm being a PITA.  Only because the two other suggestions are an hour and a half drive for me, but they sound really fun!  And that Chocolate bar sounds divine.  So since I voted for other, here are some suggestions.  I completely understand if its too far for you all.

    West County Mall area:

Elephant Bar, J Bucks (not sure how pricey)

    Chesterfield area:

Cheesecake Factory and I'm sure other bars/restaurants

    WestPort area:

There's Trainwreck or Casa in Westport.

    St. Charles area:

Trailhead in old town  But I think there's a festival this weekend so it might be crazy down there on Thursday?

    Maryland Heights area:

    Dave and Busters

I'm not sure what else is around those areas.

Ok I'll shut it now.  :)

  • I agree with soon2_ be. What about Sybergs on Dorsett, Anywhere in Westport Plaza, Olive, Chesterfield Valley. I know we already have our date confirmed, but for future GTG I would like to rec. my favorite ... The Melting Pot.

  • I forgot about Syberg's.  That place is pretty good too.  Smile

I've never been to the melting pot and DH doesn't want to go, so I'd be in for that.  I know we're still trying to plan this one, but what about doing the Melting Pot next month?  The 24th works great for me, but what about everyone else?  Is that too close to this one?

  • 7 pm works better for me!  As for a place I voted for the chocolate bar for two reasons.  1.)  Every place is usually far for me since I live south and 2) I've been wanting to try that place.  I've heard it's delicious!!

I don't mind if we go somewhere else, but if it's somewhere in St. Charles or around there you'll have to count me out.  That's too far otherwise I don't mind driving some.

  • 6 or 7 works for me too.  That will hopefully give anyone who works during the day get to wherever we all decide to go.  :)

I apologize, I'm not real familiar with what's closer for the south people.  Would somewhere around 270 and 40 be too far for anyone?  I also don't mind driving a little ways since I'm far from everything, but unfortunately my limit is probably an hour/1 hr 15 min drive (At least during a work night). Sorry.

  • Hi!!!  Those are just 2 of the places the girls mentioned on the previous post.  I was actually thinkin more of the St. Charles area...  I think somewhere around 40 (64) would be central to most of us.

So far we have Thursday 8/28 at 7:00.

  • I so wish I could come.
  • I was just thinking last night, that if we make this a monthly thing, we can meet the people that can't make it this time around next month or so...  But also, we'll switch locations so that it's closer different people every time, so that is not unfair for one person or another.

I think I'll post early next week (Sunday night or Monday) to finalize where to go!!!

Pil, have you ever been on Stlwed? That board has a lot more members than the Nest and we do montly G2Gs (we call them GNO aka Girls Night Out).

Here is the link to the Life Goes On board where a lot of past and current brides are:

I would actually love to attend the G2G you have planned, but I have a work event that night.
