My dogs - they're funny folks.
I came home today and neither one of the dogs was at the front door like usual. I started freaking out (I don't know why - the doors were all shut and its not like someone's going to dog-nap them). Not in the living room, so I go upstairs. They knocked the baby gate to the upstairs down (or it fell down) and I went in our bedroom to find that the two of them had completely unmade the bed and were just lounging in the covers. As though this was totally normal and cool. It was like "Oh hey Mom, didn't hear you come in. Want to join us for a nap? This is OUR bed and all."
I don't own my dogs, its clear that they own me.

Re: My dogs - they're funny folks.
DH and I watched The Dog Whisperer yesterday and Cesar asked these 2 guys who owned the house... They said "we do". He asked them again... They looked at each other like-is it you or me that owns the house?...
Cesar then said... NO, your dog owns the house-you need to become the pack leader.
This reminds me of that! how funny!...
This is exactly how I feel about my cats! Our animals have us trained so well don't they?
