(i don't normally post here, but i lurk)
I have been reading up on the GMO issues. Wasn't sure if this had been mentioned before.
there is a online form to submit comments regarding the regulation of Monsanto's GMO alfalfa. The open comment period is thru 3/3/10.
Monsanto is drummin' up business getting people to write comments. they have a fill-in-the-blank form for supporters to send.
I thought maybe the anti-GMO people out there might like to send comments too. (sorry for all the linkies)

I sent comments last week but I'm thinking I should send in more.
I'm sorry if these are a series of really stupid questions, but is there an organization that I should include (or should I just leave it blank) and what Representative (is that my Congressman/Senator or someone else) do I include? What government agency do I submit this to?

I'm SO glad you posted this question. I totally got stuck on those too for a long time before I realized those weren't required fields!! I'm glad its not just me!!
Those questions aren't stupid at all! Organization is who you're representing. Such as a farm, federal agency, environmental group, or health association. For myself, I put "concerned citizen." Representative means if you're submitting a comment on behalf of someone else. The link dieselmonkey provided is to the USDA comment form on the Federal Docket, that's the right place to submit a comment.
FYI for us repeat commenters, duplicate comments are generally ignored, so if you want to comment more than once use your maiden name, middle name, etc... and don't submit the same comment verbatim as you did before.
