Best Wines to Gift

We're closing on our first place tomorrow and I wanted to pick up a bottle of wine for our real estate agent and mortgage lender. Both went above and beyond in the short time that we've worked with them.  Any recs???

Re: Best Wines to Gift

  • Hi!  Not sure how much you want to spend... here are some wines my DH and I like that are dry and fruity (listed less expensive to more...)

Nathansanon Creek, Sauvingon Blanc, Merlot, Chardonnay too...

George Du Beouf, Nouveau Beaujolais, Beaujolais

    Rene Junot, Red, French

    Lisa Bella, Cabernet, Venetto, Italy

    Clos Du Val, Cabernet, California

Cheers and Congratualtions re: your new home!

Clos Du Val is one of our favorites.

House wine might be cute to give them because of the name, but it's really cheap. I don't know how it tastes.

  • I don't know anything about wine.  But at a baby shower I helped a friend with recently, the prizes were wine bottles with a few fancy chocolates hanging from the bottle.  HTH!
  • I don't think you can go wrong with a nice bottle of champagne.  Dom??  Perrier-Jouet?  Veuve?
  • New Age is delicious.  It is from New Zealand or Australia (can't remember right now) but there is a rose and white version.  Both have a tinge of sparkle in them, and the white is delicious served over ice with lime squeezed in it.  I love both and can't keep enough in my house!  Congrats on the new house btw!
