24 Hour Fitness Work Out Partner?
Hi everyone! I just moved from Orange County to San Diego and am looking for a work out partner for 24 Hour Fitness at UTC or on Balboa. Looked on sparkpeople. Looking to lose 10 pounds, tone up, build endurance and have fun. I'm willing to try gym classes (haven't done any before). I've been doing pilates but want to do something more as I haven't seen the slimming down results... but I am much stronger now! Would like a gym partner for motivation and accountability. Thanks!

I'm moving there from Orange County, too! I'll be there in April:)
Right now I work 9 to 6, so I wouldn't be able to meet up during the day. Maybe once you're doing later workouts I'll be able to join in.
Where in OC were you living? I went to high school in Los Alamitos.
I'm going to Mission Viejo this evening to pick up some furniture!
I live in Fullerton, but will be in SD by the end of March I think. Not sure my schedule yet, but I have lots of trips this summer and want to be looking hot in my swimsuit so I need a workout buddy:)

Before I got sick a bunch of times, I was working out on Tuesdays & Thursdays around 6:30pm. I've been considering changing my schedule & the gym I go to based on what classes may be available.
There isn't another board that the SD nesties are on as a group, as far as I know. I think many just sort of scattered and keep in touch via e-mail. There were reasons for that before (some rather old drama from a couple years ago now).
MG, I'm jealous that you're moving to South Park! I've been trying to find a place there, but I clearly haven't had any luck yet. I like Hillcrest, but we're right by 2 hospitals so we hear sirens and the helicopters going to/from the hospitals rather often.
