NASCAR this sunday

A co-worker of mine just gave me tickets for the sunday race (in las vegas). I never been to a NASCAR event or any car racing events. Do I need to be prepared for anything? Ear plugs? lol

You should probably bring the ear plugs if you are not used to it. We go all the time and I don't wear them but it is REALLY loud!
Try to get to the track early, there is always a lot to do around the track which is fun. They have different vendors, displays, etc.
Also, you can bring in your own food/drinks. We always bring two coolers with beer, soda, water for the race. And we usually bring some snacks. Generally, we are camping at the track so we just eat a meal before going in, but I have seen people bring sandwiches, etc. It is a great way to save money too!
Have a great time, I would love to go to Vegas for a race sometime!
