Do any of you own a Keurig?

I'm having nothing but problems with the B70 model (the platinum edition).  I purchased the 1st one in November '09, right around Thanksgiving.  It lasted about a month.  I called their customer service and they sent me a replacement.  Great! I got it and that one lasted about another month.  I called again and they sent out a 3rd one.  It arrived 2 days ago.  It's already not working.  I just called this morning and their sending out a FOURTH one! I can't believe this.  I asked the girl if anyone else is having this problem, and she said only a small percentage are.  The problem that I'm having is, the resovoir that holds the water won't trasport to the actual machine, so it shuts off so the motor doesn't blow up.  Well this last one, the water is transferring, but when I hit brew, nothing happens. The screen says 'brewing' and nothing is happening...it goes on for several minutes like this.  I'm so fed up. All I want is a cup of coffee! While I do appreciate them sending free replacements (without having me send back the defective model), its getting old. I even went as far as asking for a lower grade model and they won't do it.  I was just wondering if anyone else is having problems with theirs?

  • That sucks!  I love my keurig.  My friend has the one with the screen and has had no problems with it for several years.  Mine is the one below that.  That is too bad they won't send you the lower model too.  Its just weird. 
  • Wow, I've had mine for about a year, and haven't had any problems.  It does make a little more noise than most that i've ever seen, but otherwise no problems.
  • That really stinks.  I'm glad to hear customer service has been good to you but still super annoying!

    We have the original one without the screen and have had it for four years without any problems.  However, as I posted the other day, I've gotten too cheap to buy the k-cups.  It's too bad because I really do love their coffee.

  • We've used ours daily for the past 2 years -- never a problem.  We've even used it for parties where we've made 50 cups of coffee!

    a month? give it a month & half.  thats about the time frame with my first one.  BUT hopefully thats the not the case for you. I'm just so annoyed that they can't realize they have a problem and correct it.  I do see they have this particualr model listed as out of stock, so maybe thats a good sign.

  • We have one at the office and one at home and both of them work fine.  The one at the office gets pretty loud when it refills the water, but other than that works fine.  I'm sorry you are having problems with yours :-(
  • I have the same one you do.  I've experience the same problem where it says it's brewing but isn't actually doing anything, but I turn it off and then on and then it works fine.  This has probably happened 5 times in the year and a half that we've owned it.
  • That totally sucks!  We've had ours for over a year with no problems so far.   You're way more patient than I, I'd tell them to screw their machine on the third time and give me my money back...  hope this one works!

  • Both my mom and I got the platinum version for Christmas from my dad.  My mom said something about it always turning off on her, but I do know that there's a fuction to do that if you want to and I think she set it by accident and can't figure out how to turn it off.  I have it say brewing and it not brew once but I think it got stuck  when it needed more water?  I don't know...this is my first one.  I just lifed up the handle and put it back down and it worked fine after.
