It's the small things
I'm on a salad kick right now.
When I was talking to Vik last night, I mentioned how awesome it was that we had leftover (already cut up) lettuce from the night before because all I had to do for dinner was add ham, cheese, and croutons and I was done.
I dislike cooking. I dislike any sort of food prep. Hence why my husband-less dinners often consist of cereal and/or popcorn.
I came home today and opened the fridge to see a bowl of cut up lettuce with all of the toppings next to it.
Totally made my night.

It totally melted my heart. Which I realize sounds semi-(possibly totally)ridiculous considering it's a bowl of lettuce.
