As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. It's about time!!! :D
Well, I have fantastic news. DH is coming home. I am sooo happy. Things have been rough while he's been gone. (by the time he gets home it will have been 8 months) Lately I've been telling him that something needs to change. We haven't been communicating much and it's been a big problem. However, he's started opening up more and the countdown is on. 22 more days until he is home.
There is a big job coming up here and he flew home last minute last weekend. He went into the union hall and filled out the information for a security clearance. He's had no criminal record and nothing that wouldn't pan out on a secuirty clearance so it's pretty much a go. He starts as soon as his security clearance is through. The job itself starts March 24th. He's coming home between the 15th and 19th. (He's going to be driving his truck home.) We're just trying to decide if I'm going to fly out and drive back with him or if FIL is going to.
I'm so happy this has finally happened!!!

That's great... would hate to have to be separated from my DH for that long! You're a very strong woman - in my very quick opinion - you deserve this happy reunion!
Yes, he's a steamfitter and welder. He has been told 6-8 weeks for clearance the max. He is being laid off at his current job the 12 or the 19th anyways and instead of just transfering to another company at his site he's coming home.

yeah, that's what I wanted to do, however I guess FIL trumps wife
since FIL is flying out there instead. FIL would have had to babysit for us since I know Austin wouldn't have made the flight and drive. I guess it was decided that he was going to go not me. Not impressed, but whatever. Can't do anything about it now.
