Anyone do your own raised flowerbeds?
I want to add some raised flowerbeds to the backyard, and thought it might be a fun project for us. But not quite sure where to start or how to do it. Right now we have *nothing* in our backyard, it's all grass. Any tips/websites/pictures to share? TIA!

Re: Anyone do your own raised flowerbeds?
I've only done raised veggie beds, but I'm sure the principle is the same.
Google raised bed garden and you'll get a ton of resources.
Our little Irish rose came to us on March 5, 2010
Don't drink the water.

We're doing raised veggie gardens in our back yard, and we're probably also going to do raised flower gardens. We're doing the Square Foot Gardening method, recommended by a worker in the nursery at Lowe's.

I bought the book at Lowe's for about $17.
