I have something similar... but I never use it! Too much of a pain to clean so I just use a knife and cutting board instead.

we have a pamper chief one.  and LOVE it.  we just used it yesterday to make cupcakes.  we use it A LOT!  i say go for it!

. This. If you do a lot of cutting, like I do, it saves a ton of time. Of course, professional chiefs chop super fast but I'm very slow.

I have good knives but I'm a crappy chopper. This just seems fast and easy.

This for me too.  I love the Pampered Chef one.  I suppose the Slap Chop would likely be about the same...and cheaper so if it doens't work as well, at least you didn't spend a ton on it.

I had one years ago and hated it...things just got stuck and my hand hurt from smacking the thing.

I have the Pampered Chef one as well. It works great! Is the slap chop dishwasher safe? That is what I love about the PC one!

Tried both the Pampered Chef one and the Slap Chop...IMO, they both suck.  I think they got either re-gifted or I just left them behind when moving.

I guess it depends on what you're chopping though.  Tomatoes = forget it.  Onions = had no luck really either...might be good for other things (like nuts or stuff that won't stick to the blades).
